This is one of my favourite Dylan poems, too. An absolute classic, and certainly one of the best ever written… Enjoy!
I wanted to share my favourite poem with you by Dylan Thomas. Dylan is a Welsh poet who lived a short and eventful life, and is probably Wales’ best known literary export.
And Death Shall Have No Dominion was written in 1933, and is themed on resurrection. The poem is a challenging read but it contains some amazing lines, my favourite being:
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.
